Southern California Advanced Cardiac Life Support Renewal for Healthcare Professionals & First Responders

It is that time to renew the AHA ACLS certification designed for healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies. This includes personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units such as physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and paramedics, as well as other professionals who need an ACLS course completion card for a job or other requirements.

Specific ACLS content:

• 1 and 2 rescuer child/infant CPR and AED use
• Management of respiratory emergencies
• Rhythm disturbances and electrical therapy
• Vascular access
• Resuscitation team concept
• Cardiac, respiratory, shock case discussions, and stimulations
• Systematic approach to pediatric assessment

You may select the advanced cardiac life support renewal course in Diamond Bar course ONLY if your card is still valid or has expired within the past 6 months. Please bring a copy of your card on the day of the course, we honor the expiration date of the card until the end of the month it is set to expire on. If your card is not valid, you will be switched to the initial course and pay the difference. As a requirement before the ACLS class, the American Heart Association has made it mandatory that you complete the ACLS self-assessment and pre-test with a score of 70% or higher. Once you register, the information will be provided in the confirmation email. Please note this is a 4 to 6 hour course, please plan accordingly. Students will not be allowed to leave early, course will finish once students complete the skills testing and exam.
