ACLS (ADVANCED CARDIAC LIFE SUPPORT)

• Basic life support skills
• Early management of respiratory and cardiac arrest
• Recognition and early management of peri-arrest conditions such as sympotomatic bradycardia
• Airway management
• Related pharmacology
• Mangement of acute coronary syndromes (ACS) and stroke
• Effective communication as a member and leader of a resuscitation team and effective team dynamics

You may select the renewal course ONLY if your card is still valid. Please bring a copy of your card on the day of the course, we honor the expiration date of the card until the end of the month it is set to expire on. If your card is not valid, you will be switched to the initial course and pay the difference. As a requirement before the ACLS class, American Heart Association has made it mandatory that you complete the ACLS self-assessment and pre-test with a score of 70% or higher. Once you register, the information will be provided in the confirmation email. Please note this is a FULL day course, please plan accordingly. Students will not be allowed to leave early, course will finish once students complete the skills testing and exam.
