If your AHA ACLS card is current, perform ACLS on a daily basis, served as an ACLS Provider for a minimum of 3 years, and feel that you know the material and do not need a review, AHA says you can challenge the ACLS Renewal course by taking the written test and coming in and doing the megacodes. This course opportunity is meant for healthcare providers using ACLS skills on a daily basis such as those working in the ER.  You will receive your American Heart Association ACLS card the same day. Please note that this option is only open to students with current AHA ACLS cards and if you do not pass either the megacodes or the written examination on the first try there is no remediation.  You will then have to register for the full ACLS Recert course and pay the applicable fees (there will be no credit issued for failed course).
